Connections
There's a reason our company is named Connexin -- we believe in the power of connectivity. Office Practicum offers a wealth of obvious features, but one of its hidden strengths is how easily and seamlessly you can reach outside the system to communicate with other entities that participate in the care of your patients.
On the EHR side, Office Practicum provides connections to numerous labs and state immunization registries, including real-time import of patient vaccination history if your registry allows it. The system also supports e-prescribing with access to formularies and Lexi-Comp clinical decision tools, as well as importing and exporting of patient data through industry standard Continuity of Care Documents (CCD). And new for 2008, you can enjoy context-sensitive access to AAP web sites. It's the next step in content integration, and Office Practicum has it first!
In the billing office, Office Practicum completely manages the process of transmitting claims, receiving payer reports, checking patient eligibility, following up claim status, and posting electronic remittances to patient accounts.
At Connexin, we believe that software is only as strong as the company it keeps. Come join the network!
