Office Practicum is a comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) and Practice Management (PM) software solution designed specifically for pediatric practices. “Our ongoing commitment to meeting the unique needs of pediatricians and improving healthcare delivery for children has resulted in the continued evolution of our leading-edge software, renowned in the pediatric community for the past 15 years,” said Gregory H. Anderson, CIO. “We have applied the same deliberate, pediatric-centric commitment in our production of Office Practicum 11, our newly certified Complete EHR version, and we’re pleased to introduce the result,” stated Anderson. “This certification will help pediatric practices around the country with the financial costs of transitioning to the use of EHR software.” “We recognize the important role that Meaningful Use of an EHR plays in the delivery of quality healthcare in the U.S., particularly in children,” stated Fredrick R. Pytlak, CEO of Connexin. “We are proud to bring forward a solution that integrates Meaningful Use standards, in addition to our robust offering of pediatric-centric solutions.”
With a user-friendly and portable design, Office Practicum 11 brings together EHR and Practice Management, in addition to other services such as patient web portals, laboratory interfaces, VacLogic™ vaccine forecasting and interfaces to most state immunization registries. Office Practicum 11 can be used on all types of devices, from the traditional PC to the iPad™, making the EHR convenient and accessible for providers everywhere.
“We look forward to collaborating with our Regional Extension Center partners nationwide, as they lead the migration to a paperless office environment. Office Practicum11 is an easy-to-use, comprehensive solution for enhancing patient communication, managing patient care and practice financials,” said Pytlak. “This certification will instantly make it more viable for thousands of pediatric offices to use an EHR to increase efficiency and decrease costs over the long-term, and we’re proud to be at the vanguard of this important change.”
