Stay-at-home orders are in effect all over the country, resulting in a decrease in pediatric patient visits. This can be due to fewer injuries, less illness, and even more likely the concern that attending in-person well visits may lead to sickness.

With the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently releasing guidelines for conducting safe and effective virtual well visits, practices are now able to refill their schedules, avoid care gaps, and keep enough revenue flowing until daily life starts returning to normal.
