Bethany Williams

Senior VP of Product

Bethany Williams is a seasoned healthcare IT executive.

She is a results-oriented avid intrapreneur, product and business developer, and healthcare strategist, known as a ‘brand builder’ for insightful and unique abilities to build products and considerably expand footprint and market share. She works as a catalyst for change in organizations; igniting new direction and positive change. 

She created an innovative, social way to share documents in healthcare delivered to the market for a disruptively low cost while employed at ZirMed as VP of Product Strategy. 

Prior to joining ZirMed, Bethany worked as a Director at PWC and has also served as the DFW/Houston Market Vice President for Perot Systems where she worked as a trusted advisor to client senior management teams, helping them to solve their unique healthcare operational, business, and IT challenges.

During the prior 11 years, Bethany worked at IDX Systems Corporation as the international product strategy director for their financial  & EDI products and as an enterprise solutions consultant, leading product development efforts for the GE Centricity Products, as well as having responsibility for the marketing and messaging of those products.

She was one of the leaders that led the company through a time of great change and growth. During her tenure there, IDX went public, acquired Phamis Lastword (now known as GE Centricity), grew from $167M to $521M in 4 years (from 2000 to 2004), signed a deal with the United Kingdom to provide electronic health records for one of the regions, and eventually sold to GE Healthcare in 2006.

Bethany also served in key managerial roles at Sharp Healthcare, in California, where she worked as the access and patient accounting director and the business office director.

Bethany served on the Board of Directors for the North Texas ACHE for five years and is a member of the Women Leading Business (WBL) national leadership organization. Williams graduated from National University in San Diego, California, with a BBA in healthcare administration. She was named one of the top 25 Women to Watch by the Dallas Business Journal in 2010 and is on the 2013 list of the Top 100 Branding Experts to Follow on Twitter.
