Children are not just small adults. Nowhere is that more true than when referring to pediatric care plans. Whether they’re the Bright Futures Guidelines for well visits or plans for chronic conditions like asthma or Type 1 diabetes, you need to be able to trust that the plans you enroll your patients in were developed specifically for children— not adjusted and altered for them. Our care plans were developed, curated, and templated by pediatricians, both OP users and OP staff, specifically for children and adolescents, so when you go to enroll your patient you can trust the recommendations and guidance being offered.
Out-of-the-box care plans ready for your customization
We offer several care plans out of the box, including:
- Bright Futures Preventative
- Asthma Action Plans
- Lead Exposure
- Down Syndrome
In addition to the pre-built care plans, OP also enables you to create your own personalized plans, with a robust engine and guides available to walk you through the process. Create your own plans with their own unique triggers, set certain conditions to auto-enroll patients in specific plans, and restrict viewership by role for more sensitive plans.
One of our biggest assets is our community of providers, and our pediatricians have their own dedicated clinical listserv to share not only general information or recommendations but their own customized care plans that they’ve built and exported from OP. It’s easy to share with other pediatricians in the OP community and take advantage of the collective decades of knowledge our providers offer.
It’s one thing to develop and utilize care plans in your day-to-day routine, but reporting on those plans is what takes your practice to another level. What good is a preventative care plan if your patient isn’t coming in for their scheduled well visits?
With OP, you can identify which patients have fallen behind with just a few clicks, allowing you to drill down by age, insurance payer, co-morbidities, and more; essentially, if it exists as discrete data in OP, it can be reported on. Using our Demographic Analysis and Recalls report, you are able to run reports on any care plans you’ve enrolled patients in, whether it came out of the box or you created it with the help of other OP providers.
