OP offers ONC Certified APIs as well as additional OP Administrative and Advanced Clinical APIs. These APIs have a mix of both unidirectional and bidirectional capabilities and have *costs associated with onboarding and monthly maintenance and support. They may be requested by OP Customers and vendors interested in integration with Office Practicum. The scope of use, corresponding fees and services will be set forth in a separate written agreement and statement of work upon request. *Third party vendors may also charge for use of their application.

Office Practicum charges each provider a monthly fee to implement and use the certified software. One-time set up fees are charged for some certified capabilities. Our Current* Packages include:

Certification of modules related to CQMs or Patient Engagement (e.g., Secure Messaging) are available through our partners. Customer must attest with a Certification ID that is unique to a combination of Office Practicum along with those other partners.
Contractual Considerations
Customers must sign a Subscription and Service Agreement for a minimum 2-year renewable term. The terms of the contract do not impose anything that could limit the implementation or use of certified capabilities, or the data generated by these capabilities. There are no business policies or practices that may impact the implementation or use of certified capabilities, including interoperability functionality.
Technical Considerations
There are no product considerations that could prevent or impair the implementation, configuration, maintenance, support, or use of a certified capability.
There are no technical considerations that a user may encounter regarding the exchange or portability of any data generated when using the capability.
There are no technical considerations with non-certified capabilities that may interfere with the use or implementation of any certified capabilities.
Conditions of Certification – Communications
OP is committed to compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act. As such, as of April 5, 2021, in the event any contract term, policy or practice of OP limits or restricts the permitted communications under the Communications Condition of Certification (45 CFR 170.403), OP will not enforce it. Under this condition, OP will not restrict or prohibit the following communications related to exchanging electronic health information (“EHI”), except as permitted by the Cures Act:
Upon renewal of your OP agreement, any contract term contrary to these rules will be removed or voided in accordance with the new rules.
Single Patient Export
Office Practicum allows a user to export electronic health information (EHI) for a single patient at any time via a Database Viewer stored SQL query built into OP named “Single patient EHI export” without developer assistance. The exported files are in .csv file format explained below
