Joe Walsh teaches digital forensics and computer security at DeSales University. Previously, he worked as a senior security consultant where he performed security assessments, conducted penetration testing, and responded to computer security incidents. He has been a police officer for eleven years and is a former member of the ICAC Task Force and the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force, where he was responsible for conducting online undercover investigations and digital forensic examinations. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice (with a concentration in Digital Forensics). He recently completed his second master’s degree in Information Systems (with a concentration in Cybersecurity) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Information Systems, with a specialization in Information Assurance and Computer Security.
